moonyeyedwalrusI've been editing the second chapter of my fic and keep getting tripped up over the names. For instance, why is it I don't bat an eye typing out "Wei WuXian" or "Jiang Cheng" every time but I just want to call Jiang YanLi "yanli" and I'm being wildly inconsistent with how I refer to her and no wonder this chapter is taking me forever to write hijhjgjfd

also also, how do I differentiate btwn Jin Ling's uncles when I write his POV?? I typed out "uncle wuxian" and it looks so weird I can't bring myself to leave it. I need to see how other fic writers are handling this but I know I'm just gonna wind up getting sucked in and invested and not writing.
But I can't do anything anyway because I have actual adult things to do, sigh. For now, I can only fret.
